School Uniform

We are a “Uniform School” and pupils are actively encouraged to wear school uniform. We believe a uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to the feeling of belonging to a school.

All items of school uniform are readily available at High Street stores. However, some items with school logos can be purchased or ordered through the school. These include sweatshirts, polo shirts, P.E. shirts and shorts. Please ask for an order form from Mrs Llewelyn the School Secretary.

Parents of Y3 pupils admitted from Clydach Infants’ School will have an opportunity to purchase or order school uniform during the Welcome Evening for New Parents towards the end of the summer term. The uniform consists of:

BOYS
Winter: Royal blue sweatshirt, grey, black or navy trousers or royal blue jogging trousers, white royal or sky-blue polo shirt.
Summer: White, royal or sky-blue polo shirt and plain shorts.

GIRLS
Winter: Royal blue sweatshirt, grey skirt, or black or navy leggings/trousers or royal blue jogging trousers, white royal or sky-blue polo shirt.
Summer: Blue/white gingham dress or white, royal or sky-blue polo shirt and skirt.

Please do not allow your child to wear trousers with poppers or stripes to school.

Pupils should not wear jewellery to school. Only stud earrings and watches are acceptable. Pupils wearing unsuitable jewellery will be asked to remove it.

In the interests of safety please ensure that your child wears sensible footwear. Girls should not wear high-heeled, wedge-type shoes.

It is advisable for girls with long hair to have their hair tied back.

P.E. KIT

All pupils are expected to change for P.E. Pupils can bring their own shorts and t shirt for indoor P.E. and outdoor Games or change into warmer jogging bottoms etc. for outdoor Games during colder weather. Alternatively P.E. shorts and T shirts in school colours can be purchased from the school office.
