Governors can be likened to a Board of Directors. They normally meet twice a term and make decisions about how the School is run.
School Governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act together, they cannot act individually. School Governors are parents, teachers at the school, non-teaching staff of the school, local council representatives, community representatives and business men and women.
