Garden Development
January 2009
School Governors tried to purchase two adjacent back gardens with the intention of creating a large garden which would be accessed from the school playground. Unfortunately this did not come to fruition.
April 2009
The school is now creating a small garden area in the corner of the playground(an area that has suffered from flooding in the past). The garden will include a decked area and flower beds, a small pond made from a bath, a shed and greenhouse and large wooden planters for growing vegetables. We are very grateful to the following for their donations to the garden:
The school has also raised its own funds through a sponsored hockey tournament organised by former pupil Ben Woolsey. Click here to see more about the hockey tournament.

August 2009
During the summer holidays staff and governors came in to school to help complete the garden in readiness for the new school term.

September 2009
Our Eco club planted a hedge in tyres filled with potting compost.

March 2010
By March all the classes were busy planting seeds ready to fill their class planter on the yard.

May 2010
In May the willow which had been soaking in a bucket of water had produced roots and we planted 3 in each tyre. When they grow they will be tied together to form a willow arch.

July 2010
In July we were delighted to win a Silver Award in the Swansea in Bloom competition and our garden looked like this:-
